We are writing you in reference to the outstanding all-around service that your company has recently provided us.

Unfortunately, our home in Holden, MA was one of the casualties of the December ice storm. A pipe in our master bedroom suite burst, causing extensive damage. Our insurance company, Amica, recommended ARS to perform the rehabilitiation. Your clean-up crew arrived promptly the next day. We had several different crews working at our home over the next few weeks, each of which was extremely courteous, professional and competent. My wife was very frazzled by the situation with Christmas soon approaching. Your workers were extremely kind and empathetic to my wife as they mitigated this ordeal. We were very impressed that each member of your crew put on blue booties when entering the house – a nice touch – which kept our inconvenience to a minimum.

I want to let you know that I will be arranging for repair contractors directly myself rather than obtaining them through ARS. My wife and I have certain contractors with whom we have worked over several years including those who renovated the kitchen less than 2 years ago. I will contact you separately from this email to finalize the claim.

I also want to thank you for referring me to Ritch Piltch and ARS for the demolition and mitigation control needed immediately at the time of the damage from the ice dam. ARS teams acted quickly, efficiently to remove wet areas, eliminate ice damming and prevent further damage. I was assigned a project manager and a coordinator with back up support to manage the situation day by day including weekends. They monitored drying controls, and removed walls and ceilings only as needed where drying controls did not solve the problem and always with an eye toward avoiding the all-menacing mold.

You will recall that I was frustrated by contractors who specialize in yard care and general handyman work as they did not seem prepared to handle the situation. ARS provides a premier service. I had lost track of Ritch over the past several years having worked with him when his business was younger, so I am very happy that you gave me the reference. I had a serious problem that could have resulted in much more damage had we not brought ARS in when we did.
