Each year ARS honors an individual with the ARS Hero Award, celebrating those who go above and beyond in their commitment to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation and the Ellie Fund. This year the award was presented to both Mark Markell of Needham, MA & Richie Sullivan of Wellesley, MA for their tireless efforts to support those impacted by breast cancer. They join a remarkable community of extremely supportive individuals, dedicated to serving others.

“The spirit of charitable giving is alive and well, as evidenced by the overwhelming generosity of those that attended the annual Casino Night,” said Mark Markell, Director of Business Development, Partner of Rodman Insurance, and recipient of the 2018 ARS Hero Award.  “Year after year, ARS hosts a fun filled and rewarding event, highlighting its commitment to giving back to the community.  I am proud to be a part of Casino Night and appreciate the hard work and dedication the team at ARS puts into an event of this caliber to serve patients and their families battling breast cancer.”

Casino Night, the company’s flagship event, kicks off a year-long effort of charitable giving.  This year, ARS will host the 13th annual Charity Golf Tournament at Charter Oak Country Club on Monday, August 20th.
