Newton, MA – On Friday, October 25, 2019 the RESCON Restoration & Construction team showed their support and helped raise awareness for breast cancer by hosting a RESCON Pink Out Day. Team members from across the regions wore pink t-shirts with the message “RESCON Stands Together” to show our support as an organization during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Our mission at RESCON is to “Give Back What Disaster Took TM” by restoring property and peace of mind. But giving back doesn’t stop there for our team. Our mission is also to give back and support charitable organizations in the communities which we conduct business. Raising funds for patients and families battling breast cancer has been extremely important and a major focus of ours for many years. Thanks to our incredible team and thousands of generous donors from our business and personal communities, we have been able to donate over $4,000,000 to local breast cancer foundations. Raising awareness is equally as important, and RESCON Pink Out Day was our opportunity to show our commitment to and help raise awareness for breast cancer in our surrounding communities.
This year’s Pink Out Day was also an opportunity to unite as an organization. With 14 locations throughout New England, down the east coast and Texas, our RESCON team, though miles apart, were united through the pink t-shirts. “It is amazing to see our team come together despite the distance in such a fun and meaningful way. Looking at dozens of pictures of our staff in different locations, in different departments and different roles, all sharing the same excitement and pride in their pink t-shirts is incredibly moving.” said Kate Petrick, Corporate Communications Manager.
This year’s t-shirts displayed the phrase “RESCON Stands Together” to showcase our unity as an organization and mission to support charitable initiatives. To discuss how RESCON Restoration & Construction can get involved with an organization you feel connected to, please reach out to us at
